FAQ's:
What age groups are parties for? These activities can be suitable for children ages 5 -13. That being said, the younger the children are additional adult supervision/ assistance will be needed as there is only one staff member facilitating the activities. **We have discovered that boys who are rambunctious find it hard to focus on this activity for very long so this type of activity may not be suitable for them.
How many adults should attend? We assume that there will be a maximum 1 adult per 4 or 5 kids. There is plenty of room at the table for the kids to create and for a few adults to fit in and help and encourage the kids. If you want a lot of adults to attend and watch the kids alternate after store hours arrangements will have to be made for the party, please contact us. Also note, we do not have seating available.
Can I bring food? Birthday cake and snacks are definitely allowed! We do request however that snacks be something with a minimal mess. For example; Pre-made sandwiches, snack packs etc.
How early should I book? We require a minimum of two weeks notice so that we can make sure we have enough staff to facilitate the party.
Is there a washroom available? There are public washrooms 50 feet from our front door across the street. We require parents to bring children for washroom break as staff must remain in the store.
What happens is merchandise is damaged or soiled by a member of the party? We will have to charge for any merchandise damaged or soiled which is why we ask all participants to stay around the creative table for the duration of the party.
What time can I book and how long does it last? Times that can be booked are 10:00 to noon or 4:00 to 6:00. Two hours is as long as most groups have ever taken to do the activities and then enjoy the snacks and cake - we have had groups of 8 that have finished in just over an hour as not a lot of time was spent creating the art for the shirts and buttons.
