As a woman-led business, we wanted to share with you some of the women behind the products you see at MAKE for International Women's Day! ♀️💜 Although we couldn't share them all, here are some for you to discover & support.

Jayne Baun is an artist from the beautiful Golden BC and also the founder of Baun Bon, a company specializing in creating fun cards and mugs. Jayne was raised on her family's farm in the south of Alberta, she moved to British Columbia for art school and stayed for skiing, climbing, snowboarding, hiking and all that the mountains offered her. She spends her spare time adventuring with her husband Justin and two children Betty and Bowin, never without a sketchbook.

Angie Q Coates is a Vancouver-based artist and pitbull-mom who promotes powerful messages through art. Born and raised in Mexico, in addition to being an artist and business owner, Angie is an avid advocate of all things positive and progressive. Clara Leung is the founder of C Yarn Hut. She discovered her love for knitting long before she can remember. She knits night and day at her studio in Vancouver, creating handmade goods with yarn that have  a warm and sweet message.

Diana Luong and Erica Carreas are the founders of CraftedVan, a company specializing in magnetic bookmarks, magnets and cards. Diana handles all the design creation while Erica handles all the production magic. They’ve experimented with tons of different products before falling in love with magnetic bookmarks and fridge magnets! Outside of craftedvan, Diana is a designer and Erica is a registered nurse, resulting in a perfect mix of love, creativity and care in all of our creations.
