Our minimum order for CUSTOM EMBROIDERED PATCHES is 50 PIECES and our minimum turnaround time is 3 to 4 weeks plus delivery.
Embroidered patches are a great way to create a piece of art you can wear! We can digitize your design, add your name in a font chosen from our font book, or add your company's logo. Patches are the perfect way to add a little YOU into fabric.
Embroidery is priced mainly by thread count and size of the design. We offer pre-cut "Merrowed Edge" patches but we also have the ability to create custom sizes and shapes with twill cut edge patches. Discover more below or click here for more info on embroidery.
Our in-store design books are full of pre-digitized artwork. We have flowers, animals, sports icons, hearts and tons more graphics!

Custom Merrowed Edge Patches
Twill embroidered patches with a merrowed edge offer a more classic look.
Woven patches with a merrowed edge offer the ability for a much higher amount of detail as well as being lighter in weight in general. They look similar to embroidered patches but can have much smaller detail such as intricate lettering.
Merrowed Edge: sometimes known as overlock sewing or overlocking, is the process of wrapping thread around the fabric edge, yielding an efficient and uniform stitch. Making these types of patches is a 4-step process using 4 different machines:
- The embroidery file needs to be set up (on our computer using embroidery software).
- Then the design or lettering is embroidered onto the twill fabric (using an embroidery machine). Alternatively the patch design is woven together with finer threads using a weaving machine designed for patches.
- The "patches" are then cut out using a die cut.
- Then the edges are merrowed (using a merrowing machine).
Minimum Order: 50 patches
Minimum Time Frame: 3-4 weeks
Only simple shapes can be merrowed.
Glue backing is available but we recommend sewing the patch on as well for better longevity. Velcro backing is also available.
We do not sew or glue patches in-house. However we do offer HEAT PRESSING of custom patches onto our caps for an added cost and additional production days.

Custom Heat-cut Edge Twill and Woven Patches
Heat-Cut Edge: This is when the patch is cut to shape using a heat-cut machine. This allows patches to have more complex shapes and sharp angles, making almost any shape possible. Making these types of patches is a 3-step process.
- The embroidery file needs to be set up (on our computer using embroidery software)
- Then the design or lettering is embroidered onto the twill fabric (using an embroidery machine). Alternatively the patch design is woven together with finer threads using a weaving machine designed for patches.
- The "patches" are then cut out using a heat cut machine.
Minimum Order: 50 patches
Minimum Time Frame: 3-4 weeks
Glue backing is available but we recommend sewing the patch on as well for better longevity. Velcro backing is also available.
