Embroidered Patches

Patches are a great way to create a piece of art you can wear! Whether it'd be your own design, your name in a font chosen from our font book, or if it's your company's logo; patches are the perfect way to add a little YOU into fabric.

Embroidery is priced mainly by thread count and size of the design. We offer pre-cut Merrowed Edge patches or we have the ability to create custom sizes and shapes with twill cut edge patches or felt cut edge patches. Discover more below or click here for more info on embroidery.

Custom Merrowed Edge Patches

Embroidered Merrowed borders
EMBROIDERY STARTS AT $15

Merrowing, sometimes known as overlock sewing or overlocking is the process of wrapping thread around fabric, yielding an efficient and uniform stitch. Making these types of patches is a 4-step process using 4 different machines:

  1. The embroidery file needs to be set up (on our computer using embroidery software).
  2. Then the design or lettering is embroidered onto the twill fabric (using an embroidery machine).
  3. The "patches" are then cut out of the twill fabric (die cut or hand cut).
  4. Then the edges are merrowed (using a merrowing machine).

Minimum Order: 25 patches
Minimum Set-up Fee: $50
(depends on stitches in embroidery)
Minimum Time Frame: 2 weeks

Only simple shapes can be merrowed.
Glue backing is available but we recommend sewing the patch on as well for better longevity.
We do not sew or glue patches on in-house but we can arrange for an added cost and 7+ additonal days).

Making these types of patches is a 3-step process.

    2. Then the design or lettering is embroidered onto the twill fabric (using an embroidery machine).
    3. The "patches" are then cut out of the twill (they are hand cut so perfection is not possible).

    Minimum Order: 1
    Minimum Set-up Fee: $50
    (depends on stitches in embroidery)
    Minimum Time Frame: 2 weeks

This type of edge may be the only one available for complicated shapes. More colours are available for volume orders on request.

Glue backing is available but we recommend also sewing the patch on as well for longevity.

Note: We do not sew or glue patches on in-house (but we can arrange for an added cost and 7+ additional days).
