Continue ShoppingIn 2021 MAKE partnered with UNYA, the Urban Native Youth Association, to print and sell orange t-shirts for Orange Shirt Day. The design was donated by local indigenous artist KC Hall and 100% of the proceeds were donated to UNYA. At the end of the two month long campaign, MAKE’s head honcho Stacy Hall presented Lucas Riedel, the Director of Youth Engagement at UNYA, a cheque in the amount of $37,393.00 for youth programming.
This year MAKE, UNYA and KC Hall are teaming up again to present a new shirt for Orange Shirt Day.
MAKE will be selling the new design, graciously donated by KC Hall, starting on August 1 until Orange Shirt Day on September 30.
“Behind the slogan is a human spirit that represents not only our living children but the ones who never made it home.” - KC Hall
The shirts will be available for sale at MAKE Gastown, 170 Water Street, and MAKE Vancouver on Granville Island, 1648 Duranleau Street and online at: www.makevancouver.com
