Every Child Matters fundraiser for UNYA

Urban Native Youth Association is proud to once again partner with MAKE Vancouver to sell 'Every Child Matters' Orange Shirts, designed by local Indigenous artist KC Hall, in support and memory of the generations of Residential School Survivors.

In 2021 MAKE partnered with UNYA, the Urban Native Youth Association, to print and sell orange t-shirts for Orange Shirt Day. The design was donated by local indigenous artist KC Hall and 100% of the proceeds were donated to UNYA. At the end of the two month long campaign, MAKE’s head honcho Stacy Hall presented Lucas Riedel, the Director of Youth Engagement at UNYA, a cheque in the amount of $37,393.00 for youth programming.

This year MAKE, UNYA and KC Hall are teaming up again to present a new shirt for Orange Shirt Day

MAKE will be selling the new design, graciously donated by KC Hall, starting on August 1 until Orange Shirt Day on September 30.

Behind the slogan is a human spirit that represents not only our living children but the ones who never made it home.” - KC Hall

The shirts will be available for sale at MAKE Gastown, 170 Water Street, and MAKE Vancouver on Granville Island, 1648 Duranleau Street and online at:  www.makevancouver.com
