Description
The "Van City Hoodie" by KC Hall incorporates elements that echo Northwest Coast Indigenous art, such as the eye shape human figure face that pays homage to graffiti characters with ovoids and black lines, and integrates it into the modern lettering that says "Van City".
KC Hall was born in Bella Bella, BC, and was raised in East Vancouver since he was two years old. He is the grandson of hereditary Chief Irene (Wakas) Brown. KC has always had an interest in illustration. Since 2017 he has been working on a larger scale, creating murals in Vancouver and on Vancouver island.
